3 Ebert sisters married 3 Kelly brothers

I have wanted to add a little about the Kelly family.  I do plan to blog about all the children of Martin Ebert and Roxy Waller.  Today I want to talk about the Kelly family.  I descend from Thomas Kelly and Abigail Louisa Ebert.

First, does anyone have a source for the parents Thomas Alfred Kelly and Elizabeth Ford?  Specifically for Alfred being a middle name?  I have only ever found the father as Thomas Kelly.   Following are just some of the notes I have on Thomas Kelly, senior and his family:

fought as an Irish soldier in the 'Battle of Waterloo in 1815' (I know this is a favorite story in the family, but I am not so sure it is true.  I think it more likely he was a soldier, but possibly fought in War of 1812 in Canada.  Again, if anyone has sources, please contact me.)

settled in Montreal, Quebec area about 1820    (as I found a baptism record for daughter Sarah in 1816, they were in Montreal before June 1816)

christening of daughter Sarah Kelly places the family in Montreal in 1816
Christ Anglican Church, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
FHL film# 2021264
year 1816, page 5 (fifth folio)
baptized June 2nd 1816.  On the fourth day of April one thousand Eight hundred and sixteen Sarah daughter of Thomas Kelley and of Elizabeth Ford his wife was born; and was Baptized on the second of June following by me      S.T. Mountain
The Sponsors are William Warren, Sarah Snider, and Mary McKinnon who have hereto signed their names.
(Thomas and Elizabeth also signed their names!)

I have not been able to find the births/christenings for the rest of the children of Thomas Kelly and Elizabeth Ford.  Perhaps the info we have came from a Kelly family Bible??
I checked the rest of FHL film#2021264 and 2021265 (Anglican) and they  were not on those records.
Also FHL film#2027028(Methodist Church, Montreal 1818-1835) and no Kelly or Holt but the years for 1822-1827 are missing in those records, and some years appear to be missing some months

NOTE: I did find a marriage on film #2021265(year 1829, folio 36) for a marriage of William Judd of Parish of St. Rose and Eleanor Bradley of Parish of St. Martin married 10 August 1829 at Christ Church Anglican in Montreal.
This couple are the parents of several of the Judd's who marry into the John Ebert and Jane Armstrong family.  There are also a few names who  appear in the Anglican records who move to Gore township, Argenteuil, where the Thomas Kelly family moved to.
I was keeping my eyes open for any mention of Ebert in the above records, and I did not find even one reference!

Gore Township 1842 Census Index
Parish of Gore & Wentworth Sheet 1232
Line #  Name      Occupation  Total #      Nativity # Years Tenure
1 Thomas Kelly     Farmer        3     2 IRL, 1 CB     30     free (2 born Ireland, 1 born Canada, in Canada 30 years,  free=land tenure)
(this census seems to indicate that Thomas Kelly and family have been in Canada for 30 years, which would mean they, or at least Thomas, was in Canada about 1812; which would mean he didn't fight at Waterloo?? perhaps fought in Canada instead??)

The following is 'our' Kelly family in the 1852 Canada census,
1852 / Canada East / Deux Montagnes (county) / 532 Gore township / p. 19d, 20a, (39)
Kelly, Thomas  Farmer      Ireland      Episcopalian            67    M
Kelly, Elizabeth                  Ireland     Episcopalian            67    F
Kelly, John     Labourer      Canada Episcopalian               27    M
Lister, Joseph     Farmer     Ireland     Presbyterian            32    M
Lister, Elizabeth                 Canada     Episcopalian            31    F  (this is Elizabeth Kelly)
Lister, Sarah                       Canada     Episcopalian              8    F
Lister, Mary                      Canada     Episcopalian              6    F
Lister, Benjamin                 Canada     Episcopalian             3    M
Lister, Joseph                    Canada     Episcopalian              1    M
Could the above family be Thomas Alfred Kelly?? his daughter Elizabeth married a Joseph Lester
if so, I have the wrong death date for Thomas Alfred Kelly (yes, death date of 1847 is another Thomas Kelly  changed death to after 1852)
This Lister(Lester) family seems to have moved to Pontiac County, Quebec, and then on to Renfrew County, Ontario

There are records in Gore Township, Argenteuil County, Quebec of a Thomas Kelly/Kelley
that seem to match our Thomas Alfred Kelly  (Yes, this is 'our' Kelly family)

could the following regiment be the one 'our' Thomas Kelly was in?
v. 708 58th Rgmnt. of Foot: Hackett-Knowles 1760-1854      FHL Film893936
58th (Rutlandshire) Regiment of Foot Soldiers' documents
Formed in 1755 as the 60th,  designated as 58th Regiment  in 1756 and named the Rutlandshire Regiment in 1782. The regiment went to Ireland in 1757, and the year after embarked for America, where it fought at the siege and capture of Louisburg providing 685 soldiers, and at Quebec under Wolfe. It was also at the winter defence of Quebec by Murray, and the advance on Montreal, where the surrender of De Vaudreuil's troops on 12th September, 1760, just one year after the death of Wolfe, completed the conquest of the Canada's. It was stationed for a time on the Lakes, and in 1762 formed part of the forces under Major-General Burton, dispatched from. New York to assist in the Havana Expedition. After Cuba was restored to Spain, the regiment returned to Ireland. In 1813 it went from the east coast of Spain to Montreal, where it took part in the  expedition against Plattsburg

Also a note on the daughter Sarah Kelly, born 1816 at Montreal
She married
1)  Alexander Pattullo (born 13 May 1799 in Scotland) married about 1833 in Quebec (Pattullo is close to Phatella)
children:  Alexander K(elly?) Pattullo born 4 Aug 1834 in Quebec and George H. Pattullo born Sep 1843 in Canada
 2) James McDonald (born 1825 Canada) married 1847 of Stanley, Huron, Ontario,
children:   Eliza(1849), Margaret(1851), Sarah Ann(1853), James H.(1855), and William John(1856).
The McDonald's moved to Michigan.  Sarah Kelly Pattullo McDonald died after 1870 at Dexter, Washtenaw, Michigan, USA
I have more info on the Kelly descendants
