Yes, I have several census records for Truman Waller and family. Following are just some of the notes I have for Truman Waller:
I think Truman was probably born in Kent, Litchfield, Connecticut and not in Danbury
(Truman possibly gave Danbury as birth because it was close to where he was born
and was a recognizable name--Kent had several names and jurisdictions over the years, including
Woodbury, New Preston, Washington, Kent)
applied for a pension in 1845 at Hull, PQ for NY and VT service in the
revolution ... it was allowed.
In Marlborough township, Grenville (later Carleton County), Ontario, Canada in 1802 : Truman, Patty, Eder, Eliad, Roxy, Eunice, Maudana, Matilda, Oronda

County, New York in the 1790 census. Yes, I checked the original hand-written census and it is
Truman, not Freeman

Name spelled Trueman Waller. He served from the State of Vermont in the Revolutionary War in 1780.
He was a private with Captain Hutchins Company.

Ebert Ebbert Evert Everts Everse
While trying to trace the John Ebert family of Berne, Albany, New York, I have come across some records that may belong to this family. However, the name is not spelled Ebert, it is Everts, and other variant spellings. These records, mostly church records, but a few military, have a John Everts of Albany. There is a marriage of a John Evert and a Nency(sic) Howard:

As I have not found a John Evert family in the 1790 US census for Albany County, New York, I think there is at least a possibility this is our Ebert family. I have found christenings for 4 children, but of course not for our Martin or Catherine(married Daniel Butterfield). The naming pattern for the children would fit the names of the grandparents. Still a work in progress with no proof as yet.

War of 1812 Service Records about Martin Ebert
I received the War of 1812 records for Martin Ebert on 22 November, 2011. Unfortunately, there were only 5 pages, with very little information on them, but I actually didn't expect much. There is the cover page, 2 company pay roll cards, and 2 company muster roll cards. It does actually say he is from Berne.

Still no marriage for John Ebert and wife, and no birth or christening for a Martin Ebert, born 1780-1783 at or near Berne. Since this Martin Ebert was living in Berne in 1814 I think he probably is the son of John Ebert. Now if we could just find a definitive record tying this Ebert family to ours!
I think my next plan of action will be to order some of the Lutheran Church records for the Albany County, New York area from the library in Salt Lake City. Maybe the Ebert family was mentioned as witnesses in some of those records.
The Christmas season is soon upon us and I may/will be busy for the next month. Everyone have a good and safe holiday season.

The Buercklin/Berkley/Barclay family of Berne, Albany, New York, USA
While I am waiting for the 1812 Military Records for Martin Ebert to arrive from Washington, D.C., I decided to look at the 1790 US census for Rensselaerville Town, Albany County, New York again.
I found the entry for John Ebert, and decided to look at the families next to him in the census.
The 1790 census record has:

Berckley, Henry
Berckley, Christian
Ebert, John
Berkeley, Eberhart
John Ebert and his family were surrounded by Berckley's. I did some research on this Berckley family and discovered they were all brothers! It made me think, could John Ebert's wife be a Berckley? I have not found any record for her christening, however, I have found 12 children of Eberhardt Buercklin and Margaret Hoss/Hoff (the parents). There is a gap between their son Johannes Buercklin, born 11 March 1752 at Wiel Im Schonbach, Wurttemberg, Germany and their son Andreas (Andrew) Buercklin/Berkley/Barclay born 30 November 1756 at Albany, New York. I had determined that Mrs. John Ebert was born about 1755. The family had emigrated from Germany between 1752 and 1756. Could Mrs. John Ebert have been born at sea? Probably not, as she is not listed in the immigration list. Ancestry.com has an index with this family on it, but it only gives the spread of years the index covers, not the year of emmigration:

Catherine Ebert and Daniel Butterfield of Berne, Albany, New York
I have not had much success finding Ebert's in the Berne, Albany, New York are. However, I have come across a Catherine Ebert (other spellings of Eberts and Ebberts) who married a Daniel Butterfield on 9 January 1797 at Berne, Albany, New York. (the only source I can find for the marriage is online family trees. To have such a specific date, there must be a source, possibly a family bible, but I have not found any church or government records that support this information.)

I have only found 1 child of Daniel and Catherine Butterfield who seems to have married and had children. His name is John Warren Butterfield, and is a well known stagecoach and freight line owner/operator.

There were other Butterfield families in Albany County, New York, and the following 2 marriage records may not belong to Daniel and Catherine' family. Family trees posted on the internet have 2 additional sons, Daniel and David Butterfield. Daniel (born about 1805) supposedly dies about 1845 in New York, and most trees trace David (born 24 April 1811) to Indiana, but I think the David Butterfield of Indiana is from a different family. It needs more investigation.
